Story
Get to Know Us
Our new look cafe prides itself on being a place for all to come and relax, eat, drink and socialise. We want it to be a community feel that welcomes everyone. Well behaved dogs are welcome too.
The Cow Shed is located in a former barn that housed cows at Place Farm. Hannah Laurie, owner, decided to develop the cafe following the passing of her Dad in 2023 as she wanted to honour his memory and his love of the farm.
Our logo and mascot at The Cow Shed is ‘Snoop’ the cow.
All food is baked and cooked on the premises using locally sourced ingredients from the farm shop and bakery and butchers on site. All dishes are comforting with a healthy twist, with specials changing regularly along side classic favourites such as Full English Breakfasts, Bacon Baps and a range of fillings for Toasties, Jacket Potatoes and open Sourdough.
